SIMPSON BAY, Sint Maarten – To share expertise, bring our network teams closer together, as well as maintain and improve the services we provide our customers, Winair held a 2-day seminar on October 15 & 16, 2019. During these days network managers from Aruba, Antigua, Bonaire, Curacao, Dominica, Haiti, Saba, San Juan, Santo Domingo, St. Barth, St. Eustatius, St. Kitts and Tortola met in St. Maarten with the operational managers of Winair.
With the increase of service and destinations within Winair’s network in the past 2 years, communication and training are crucial components to successfully maintain excellent customer service. Some 20 managers and leaders of Winair’s network stations got the opportunity to get (re-)acquainted with each other and with the company’s policies and procedures. This network seminar facilitated Winair and its agent’s managers and leaders with a platform to discuss all operational matters and concerns and Winair presented the performance, route structure, potential growth plans and our various alliances.
The Caribsky alliance was also highlighted. This collaborative project was created by Air Antilles, Winair and LIAT with the goal to optimize air travel in the Caribbean area, based on a network of truly interconnected airlines. The shared vision to optimize and simplify inter-Caribbean travel for our customers supports the main motivation for this network meeting.
“I was extremely pleased with the high level of enthusiasm and participation exhibited during this seminar by all involved. It proved the commitment of Winair’s staff and network agents towards our clear and common goal; to provide our customers seamless, safe and reliable travel experience.”, stated Mr. Claudio Buncamper, Winair’s Director of Customer Service, Marketing & Sales, ”This seminar strengthened our bond as we continue this path of growth and success, as a team as well as individually.”
