SYNOPSIS:       

The strengthened Atlantic high-pressure ridge will maintain mostly moderate winds for the next few days. These winds may push small pockets of cloudiness over the island resulting in brief showers.  

Long period northerly swells will cause hazardous seas through Monday evening. Therefore, a small craft warning and a high surf advisory remain in effect for  

St. Maarten. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise extreme caution or avoid open waters.
