SYNOPSIS:
The dominant Atlantic high-pressure ridge is generating brisk winds. Pockets of low-level moisture embedded within the wind flow is predicted to produce a few brief passing showers.
A long period northeasterly swell is causing hazardous sea conditions. Consequently, a high surf advisory will be in effect for St. Maarten for the next 36 hours. Meanwhile, a small craft advisory will remain in effect for St Maarten and surrounding waters until further notice. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
