Thunderstorm activity associated with a broad area of low pressure located in the mid tropical Atlantic, has increased and become better organized over the past several hours. Environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for development and a tropical depression is likely to form during the next day or so. However, conditions are forecast to become less favorable for development by the end of the week. The disturbance is moving westward to west-northwestward near 15 mph.
