WILLEMSTAD – A dispute settlement between the countries in the Kingdom must be borne by all countries. Arjen van Rijn believes that.
The professor of constitutional law has written a memorandum for the Standing Committee on Kingdom Relations of the Dutch Parliament. They will meet next week on the draft National Dispute Resolution Act.
Van Rijn strongly criticizes that draft, because a decision by the Council of State can be overruled in a dispute by the Council of Ministers of the Kingdom, where the Netherlands has the majority.
