PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – Additional information on the accident that took place on the UNION Road about 1:00 am this morning.
The victim with initials T.J.W. was driving on the union road toward the French border. Because of excessive speed, the driver lost control of his vehicle with the consequences he slammed into a wall by a daycare center.
The driver who died on the scene, had to be removed from the vehicle with the help of the fire department personnel. Condolences goes out to the family of the victim in question.
