WILLEMSTAD – Causing your tires to burnout in the presence of a cop has cost a motorcyclist dearly. The incident happened at a funeral.
The man let the rear wheel spin for a long time, probably as a tribute to the deceased. The agents in the area seized the motorcycle. The man had no driver’s license, no insurance, and no tax card.
He was fined 625 guilders for that. For the tire burnout, he has to pay 1000 guilders. He gets his motorcycle back after payment.
