CARIBISCH NEDERLAND – This coming period, the researchers of the National ombudsman will be available on Saba, Statia and Bonaire to assist people with any problems they may have with the government.
There will be consultation hours, the researchers will come to people’s homes to discuss the problems they have and, wherever possible, they will address the government directly to solve these problems.
The National ombudsman is there for you whenever something goes wrong between you and the government. You can file complaints against, for example, the Rijksdienst Caribisch Nederland, the police, the tax authorities or the public authority. Complaints may be filed through our website and by
phone, but also through a personal visit. Three times a year, the researchers of the National ombudsman have consultation hours on Bonaire, Saba and Statia. Dates and locations of the consultation hours will be announced with ads and infomercials on the radio, and on Facebook.
Enlisting the help of the National Ombudsman is, of course, free of charge.
