Sleep disorders are conditions that prevent a person from getting a restful sleep at night and, as a result, can cause daytime sleepiness and other dysfunctions. A sleep study provides the information your physician needs to be able to make a proper diagnosis and provide you with an effective treatment recommendation(s) for your sleep disorder.
The most common sleep disorders are Insomnia; Sleep Apnea; Narcolepsy; Periodic Limb Movement Disorder; Parasomnias and Restless legs syndrome. Untreated sleep disorders can have a negative effect on your health and quality of life, such as high blood pressure, diabetes or obesity to name a few. SBDC is located in the Yogesh Commercial Complex on the A.J.C. Brouwers Road 4, Unit 1-F, Cul De Sac, phone number 554-0962.
