PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten – According to reports, the interim Silveria Jacobs led government is to take the oath of office on Tuesday.
The oath taking will be be administered by the Governor of St. Maarten, His Excellency drs. Eugene B Holiday during a ceremony to be held at his office in Harbor View.
The incoming interim government will consist of the following persons: leader of the National Alliance Silveria Jacobs as Prime Minister and Minister of General Affairs, the Minister of Finance position is awarded to Ardwell Irion, Jurendy Doran as the Minister of Justice, Rene Violenes is to occupy the post of Minister of TEATT, while Christopher Weever will continue as the Minister of VROMI.
This means that the interim government will be sworn in with five Ministers, and that the Minister of Health, Labour and Social Affairs, the Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, the Minister of Plenipotentiary as well as the deputy, will be sworn in at a later date.
