ORANJESTAD – Today, the Public Health Department of Aruba (DVG) announced that a new COVID-19 infection has been reported on the island. It is a repatriated Aruban who tested positive on arrival at the airport.
After the test, the person followed the protocol and was quarantined pending the result. There are currently four active corona infections in Aruba. Yesterday there was a lot of confusion about a list with two new infections that the Aruban government posted, this turned out to be a misunderstanding. The DVG stated that these were infections that were known before.
Currently, Bonaire also has two confirmed COVID-19 cases. These two are also locals who returned to the island.
Curaçao has zero infections.
