You are a teacher because you have answered the call.
You are the one who remember that student that put up their hand to answer the question, and also the one who sits quietly and does not say much. As a teacher, you take the class with you in your mind.
You are continuously analyzing your students, all of your students, no matter their age.
Even when you are no longer standing in front of the group and you meet them, you ask, “how are you doing?” calling them by name. As a teacher, your job, as special as it is, never stops.
Thank you for being a teacher in whatever setting. Thank you for your contribution to humanity.
