PHILIPSBURG, ST. Maarten – The conviction of the individual who drove a vehicle into a group of young men who had been standing outside a home on Passion-fruit Road, resulting in the death of 2-year old Jeremy Williams on January 13th, 2019, was made final today, December 5th, 2019.
The convicted person, J.N.R.H., withdrew his appeal yesterday, December 4th, 2019. He was sentenced to 14 years in prison for his crime. The Court of First Instance had imposed this sentence on July 10th, 2019.
