PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – In connection with the Last Lap Jump up scheduled for Tuesday May 7 th the Police Department is making the following announcement. The jump up will start at 8:00 P.M. sharp in the vicinity of Milton Peters College following the entire length of the L.B. Scot road to Church Hill round about.
The jump up will then make a left turn onto Bush road crossing Prins Bernard bridge and continue onto the Walter Nisbet road to the salt Picker round about and finally make a left turn onto Soualiga Boulevard and end in front of the Festival Village.
All streets and roads along the route will be closed for motor vehicle traffic during the passing of the jump-up. After the jump-up has passed the streets and roads will reopen to regular traffic. All drivers should take keen notice of this information and make necessary arrangements to get to and from their
destination.
