PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – Last week to mark their end-of-year events and activities, Landsloterij Director Angelo Guillermo and the Depot Holder of Landsloterij on St. Maarten, Lynette de Weever, held an informal evening meeting at Bayside Restaurant to give a donation of $500 each to three non-profit organizations—I Can Foundation, National Institute of the Arts (NIA) Youth Orchestra, and the Philipsburg Jubilee Library.
Landsloterij, in existence for more than 60 years on all islands of the former Netherlands Antilles, and now Dutch Caribbean, is the only authorized seller of lottery tickets whose entire proceeds go to the community.
Landsloterij also had the opportunity to present two Landsloterij players with a check of four hundred guilders to second chance winners of Landsloterij players.
In addition, the Director of Landsloterij, Angelo Guillermo, based in Curacao, gave a presentation to the Depot Holder SXM and the Landsloterij resellers on St. Maarten on the latest developments of the company and future plans as it regards the selling of Landsloterij tickets.
The next drawing date is the 1st of January, 2020 when someone has the chance to become a millionaire in the Million guilder draw. The price of the ticket is naf. 160, for whole sheet. The last day of buy a ticket for this drawing will be 31 December at 10am.
