WILLEMSTAD – The appeal case which was scheduled for April 30 will now be treated in court on June 9. The former minister of finance was sentenced to 28 years in prison in August last year.
The court then found it proven that Jamaloodin ordered the killing of the popular politician and Member of Parliament Helmin Wiels.
Jamaloodin insists that he is innocent and has therefore appealed.
