NL – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs escalated its travel advice for the entire Czech Republic and for ten more departments of France due to increasing coronavirus infections in these areas. Code orange now applies to these areas, instead of code yellow which still allows recreational travel.
In addition to existing travel warnings for France, code orange now also applies to the departments Aveyron, Bas-Rhin, Haute-Marne, Indre et Loire, Landes, Marne, Meurthe et Moselle, Seine Maritime, Tarn, and Vienne.
For the Czech Republic, code orange applies to the entire country.
A code orange travel advice means that the Dutch governments strongly discourages all but absolutely necessary trips to a region. Code orange due to the coronavirus also means that people returning from such an area will have to quarantine at home for 10 days upon their arrival back in Netherlands.
