THE HAGUE – Documents released via an appeal to the Public Administration Act show how great the political concerns in The Hague are about subversive crime in Curaçao, Aruba and Sint Maarten and the intertwining of the underworld with public administration.
State Secretary for Kingdom Relations Alexandra van Huffelen has not made all the requested documents public. Reason: some phrases can damage the relationship of the Netherlands with the countries and make maintaining relations and conducting consultations more difficult. Some documents have also not been disclosed because they relate to criminal investigations.
