PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – The Caribsky alliance members met in St. Maarten to continue plans of the alliance between Air Antilles, LIAT and WINAIR. To date, great strides have been made to accommodate customers, utilizing the services of the three partner’s extensive route network to ensure accessibility, convenience and reduce costs for our mutual Intra-Caribbean customers.
Several issues require approval of regulatory agencies and company boards, such as approval of safety audits and codeshare agreements allowing each airline to place their operating code on flights operated by partner airlines. Discussions also continued on the IT integration between each other’s computer services which will allow customers seamless travel when choosing any Caribsky partner and coordinating the respective flight schedules for better connectivity and ease of travel.
Working groups will be formed by Air Antilles/LIAT/WINAIR to review and ensure our airport policies are aligned. All Caribsky partners are committed to further enhancing our alliance and striving for further implementation to the benefit of our customers.
