WILLEMSTAD /PHILIPSBURG Banco di Caribe indicated in a press release that they understand their customers’ need for additional financial breathing space in these special times in light of the COVID-19 developments.
BdC informs that the 3-month moratorium on the interest and principal loan payments will be automatically implemented for the months of March, April and May 2020. Consequently, the loan repayment schedule will resume by June 2020 and the loan period will be extended maintaining the monthly repayment amount. Please note that this implies that the maturity date of the loan will be several months later than originally convened with the bank since the interest accrues and is added on the loan amount.
The moratorium is only valid for all customers who are less than 90 days in arrears.
Unfortunately, some accounts have already been debited for the repayment amount of March. The bank apologizes for this inconvenience and is currently processing the corrections for the amounts to be available soon.
Should the customers not want to make use of this moratorium offer, they can contact the bank at info@bancodicaribe.com or contact their account manager no later than April 3, 2020, with the following details: Their name and last name, their account number and their country so the bank can process their request accordingly.
