PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – The 3rd APS seminar themed APS into the
Future is fast approaching and will take place on June 28th at the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Director of the General Pension Fund of St. Maarten Mrs. Nadya Croes-van Putten will be presenting the three year Strategic Agenda of the pension fund, the first to be formalized since APS’s conception in 10-10-10. APS is inviting all its members to attend this free event and be informed on the latest developments.
The Strategic Agenda has been drafted for the years 2019 – 2022, and will guide the entity in making sound management decisions for the sustainability of the fund. The Agenda pays much attention on creating strong community participation and partnerships.
“The times are changing and there is little room to remain traditional in our approaches. Hosting the seminar is important for us because it is an opportunity to be transparent in communicating about the way we manage the financial securities of our members while contributing to the development of St. Maarten.” – Mrs. Nadya Croes-van Putten, APS Director
APS is excited to welcome its members to the seminar on June 28th. Employers are asked to allow employees the time to attend the seminar. The topics to be presented will also include the current financial position of APS, the development projects from the investment portfolio and the pending pension reform plans. The program will offer guests the
opportunity to ask questions on the various topics. The seminar will end with a cocktail reception from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm, for all in attendance.
