PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – The dispatched center received several calls on Thursday afternoon concerning a fight on the St.Peters Road. At the scene the police encountered two minors who sustained injuries during the fight.
The ambulance who were also on the scene treated both, victims and later transported them to the
St.Maarten Medical Center.
One of the victims who were severely ill-treated with a sharp object was attended to at emergency room and released. The other victim, who suffered minor injuries, was also treated and released.
The police patrol later arrested two men with the initials T.R.T and C.A.T for ill-treatment with a weapon.
They were brought over to the police station and incarcerated pending further investigation.
