PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – The wall of the Oranje Elementary School in the area of Back Street received a facelift over the weekend.
The idea of the paint over was to eliminate the obscene and vulgar graffiti spray-painted on the wall, which is believe to be the work of unscrupulous individuals.
The wall was repainted by seven officers of the Voluntary Corps of St. Maarten (VKS) on Sunday. The squad was led by Adjudant Kemper, who told us that the repainting of the wall is part of an ongoing project of the VKS.
