CUPECOY, Sint Maarten – The Cupecoy Sunset Toastmasters Club is hosting a dynamic demonstration meeting on June 27th, 2019 at 5:30 PM at the American University of the Caribbean under the theme “Do you want to know”.
The meeting serves the purpose of giving interested persons a first-hand fun experience of the Toastmasters program and the benefits that it offers.
Toastmasters is an international organization that specializes in honing the personal and professional development skills of communication and leadership for persons (young, mature and otherwise) who dare to challenge themselves to grow in a dynamic and friendly learning environment.
In return, these acquired skills foster the important attributes of self-confidence and personal growth necessary for public speaking, work, leadership or interpersonal communications.
The entire population is welcomed to attend, particularly those living and working in the Colebay, Maho, Cupecoy, and Lowlands areas.
In preparation for the upcoming demonstration meeting, the club has been benefiting from two newly appointed experienced Toastmaster coaches, Tamara Groeneveldt and Sharon Layne, who promises to bring a vibrant energy while motivating and empowering all members of the club.
The club meets twice monthly (every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month) in Building 2 of the American University of the Caribbean (AUC) in Cupecoy at 5.30 PM.
Interested persons can visit the club or contact vpecupecoysunset@gmail.com for more information. Additional information can also be found on the club’s Facebook page (Cupecoy Sunset Toastmasters Club) or Instagram (cupecoysunsetters)
