SYNOPSIS:
A tightened Atlantic high pressure ridge will generate a moderate to fresh breeze during the forecast period. Low level clouds drifting in the wind flow will cause a few showers as they move across the region.
Seas are expected to continue to deteriorate and peak near 10 feet tonight, due to the effects of northeasterly swells and strong winds. Therefore, a small craft advisory remains in effect for St. Maarten. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to exercise extreme caution.
