Lingering moisture in the atmosphere will account for isolated showers across the region. Meanwhile, winds will remain mostly light due to a loose pressure gradient.
Seas are expected to remain moderate through the next few days. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue exercising caution today.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
- At 5:00 am, the center of Tropical Depression Twenty was located about 1880 miles east-southeast of St. Maarten, moving toward the west-northwest near 10 mph. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph with higher gusts. This system is not expected to pose a direct threat to St. Maarten.
- Hurricane Paulette, Tropical Depression Rene, and Tropical Storm Sally continue to move away, at safe distances from St. Maarten. These systems pose no threat to St. Maarten.
- An area of disturbed weather located just off coast of Africa has a high (70%) chance of formation through the next 5 days. While yet another tropical disturbance is forecast to move off the coast of Africa by mid-week with a low (20%) chance of formation through the next 5 days.
