SYNOPSIS:
A loose surface pressure gradient will maintain mostly light winds across the region. Pockets of moisture at the lower levels of the atmosphere may cause a few showers.
Seas are expected to gradually deteriorate and peak near 8 feet during the latter part of this forecast period.

SPECIAL FEATURE:
At 5:00 am, the center of Tropical Storm Paulette was located about 940 miles east northeast of St. Maarten and the center of Tropical Storm Rene was located about 1860 miles east of St. Maarten. Based on the projected paths, these systems are not expected to pose a direct threat to St. Maarten.
