Tropical Depression #17 formed late last night, and as of 5:00am this morning was located about 1380 miles east of St. Maarten. Its maximum sustained winds are 35 mph and its current path takes this system north of the island towards the end of the week.
Tropical Depression #18 formed at 5:00am this morning, and was located about 2460 miles east-southeast of St. Maarten. Its maximum sustained winds are 35 mph and its current path takes this system well north of St. Maarten early next week.
