The weakened Atlantic high-pressure ridge will support a relatively stable atmosphere with a lighter wind flow across the local area today. From tomorrow the likelihood of showers will increase as a tropical wave enter the region.
Marine conditions will remain slight to moderate for the remainder of the weekend.

A tropical wave and area of low pressure located over the eastern tropical Atlantic has a high chance of development (90%) within the next 5 days and a tropical depression could form within the next day or two. Meanwhile, another tropical wave located over western Africa also has a high chance of development (80%) within the next 5 days. This system could become a tropical depression by the middle of next week.
