WILLEMSTAD – The opposition wants a more detailed explanation from the Pisas government about the Caribbean Agency for Reform and Development (COHO) as soon as possible. The parties MAN, PAR and Trabou pa Kòrsou consider the scope and impact of the law too great.
The Kingdom Council of Ministers still has to officially approve the agreement reached with the Netherlands on 10 August. That won’t happen until September 3. The bill is then sent to parliaments.
The opposition parties have sent a letter asking the President of Parliament to call a meeting before that date to discuss this important subject for the country.
