Coast Guard holds three undocumented migrants to nearby Klein Curacao

PHLIPSBURG, St. Maarten - The Caribbean Coastguard (KWCARIB) on Tuesday evening September 19 a vessel with three undocumented migrants detained near Curacao.

Tues dagavond around 21:30 detected the Dash 8 aircraft to patrol the Coastguard Caribbean Gebeied (KWCARIB) a suspect vessel south-east of Klein Curacao. A Super-RHIB coast guard bases Curacao, was similar and was deployed under coordination of the Rescue and Coordination Center (RCC) directed to the spot.

Onsite arrived they found an unlit vessel type to yola. This has been found by the crew of the Super-RHIB ge-board and that the three occupants had no valid residence permit. The boat was transferred to the Coast Guard to the fulcrum to Parera and seized. The three passengers, all are held with Venezuelan nationality and handed over to the Police Corps Curacao (KPC) that the case is still under investigation along with the Coast Guard.
