That is what was announced on Saturday (July 12). From the 15 th of December, there will be four weekly flights, on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Copa will use their Embraer 190 aircraft on the rout. It has the capability to carry 94 passengers.
Elfrieke van Galen, head of Corporate Communications at KLM, stated that the possibility of KLM flights to and from Aruba being connected with the Aruban Copa flights, will mean additional opportunities.
"The connection is a bonus, but not a must. With the three times a week flights between Amsterdam and Panama, we already have a good network set up to get passengers through to South America."
The Copa flights between Aruba and Panama will also have interconnections to the destinations of Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia and Brazil.
Copa Airlines, the national airline of Panama, flies with a modern fleet of 30 aircraft (Boeing 737-700, Boeing 737-800, Embraer 190) to 30 destinations in 20 different countries.
