PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten - My Fellow Sint Maarteners: The Ebola virus disease (EVD) is a severe, often fatal illness in humans. The current outbreak it is believed originated in Guinea in December 2013. The outbreak has reached community transmission and impacts two additional countries, namely, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
GREAT BAY, Sint Maarten (DCOMM) – The Minister of Education, Culture, Youth & Sports Hon. Patricia Lourens-Philip on Thursday released the following World Teacher's Day Message as schools close on Friday afternoon for the mid-term break.
