BRIDGETOWN, Barbados - Sports broadcaster Terry Mayers died Wednesday after being critically ill in hospital for almost two weeks. He was 40 years old.  Mayers, a regular anchor on CMC's nightly Prime Time Caribbean, suffered a severe asthma attack on the morning of Friday, May 2.
He was rushed in an unconscious state to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he remained - on life support - until his death at approximately 1:10 pm Wednesday.
