 PHILIPSBURG -The guest on the program Debating the Issues (DTI) this week, is the leader of the MAPP political party Louis Mussington.
This weekend we addressed on the program, the current economic turmoil that the Island is now facing as a result of the world wide crisis.
He also spoke about the recent visit of the French Minister of overseas territories Yves Jgo and the promised economic stimuli.
He however expressed some skepticism about the fulfillment of the Ministers promises.
The problems of the marketing of the Island was also a discussion point during the program over this weekend.
However the main topic is the current status of the Collectivit |

Status Magazine will focus on the human success stories of the region, North America and Europe. The challenges of Caribbean business men are unique. The obstacles vary from educational to market share.
The business of the production of a magazine of this caliber was also discussed. The financial requirement and the lack of a response from financial institutions is still a challenge.

 MARIGOT - The leader of the Triple R party Allan Richardson is the guest this weekend on Debating The Issues (DTI).
During the program the Triple R party leader addressed the possible impact on the islands economy of the harsh world wide economic crisis.
Allan Richardson stated that the credit crisis in the United States is a serious problem for our economy. He spoke about the impact on the 2008-2009 tourist seasons, as well as funding that's available to the island and that could be used for infrastructural development.

 PHILIPSBURG - The 17th International Aids Conference which was held in Mexico this year, was the focus of the discussion on the program Debating The Issues.
Among the issues discussed on Debating The Issue this weekend was that of Phobia, financing, travel restrictions and the talk red campaign.
