Guyanese National charged with assault gets more time Print E-mail

PHILIPSBURG - A Guyanese National was brought before the court of first instance on Friday charged with assault.

However this case of assault is not between strangers but in fact, a family members was the victim and he is still hospitalized as a result of the severity of his injuries.

The fight between the two family members have resulted is serious injuries for the hospital man who may have to undergo a life saving operation.

The man in the photo above is the one charged with the assault.

I agree, you come here and break the rules, then out you go.
Our tax money is
spent to keep ppl in jail. These ppl come here with their bad attitude and spoil
things for SXM.
Things here are bad enough without criminals like these in the
place.
We have enough crime of our own to deal with.
When someone hit their
victim in the back of their head with a 2 x 4, then they can be seen in the eyes
of the public as a murderer.

Every story has two sides. What everyone fails to realise that someone had to be
provoked and attacked to react. Get the story straight first. The hospitalized
man was in 'di bastard yard' in Dutch Quarter, however the hospitalized, a
naturalized dutch, lives in FRENCH QUARTER. He had no right going into someones
yard to pick a fight!!!!!!!!!!!

He is not a criminal, he was provoked to the max by two drunk men in his own
yard. He is a tax payer too, and law abiding citizen. He has paid his taxes and
even invested on the Island, people don't like to see you progress, so that's
what the whole problem is with the damn man,..... Serve him right. What goes
around comes around. The hospitalized man is a criminal, they should try and get
reports from Guyana, then people will understand why the man in custody had to
defend himself.

Everybody hold your peace, Mr. Sahadeo will be freed. He is well know on the
Island and all his good friends know that he is not a violent man, but very kind
and helpfull. These drunkards need to be put away.. It is wrong to be stone
drunk and driving, why don't the police arrest the drunken driver that took Mr.
Kooblall to Mr. Sahadeo's house? They know him very well. And how come the IND
gives a criminal a dutch passport. He must have forged his police report from
Guyana.........

for all those who think that he should go back 2 guyana de hell with ayu because
it wasnt his fault...de drunky didnt had any right to come into his yard and
cause dis drama...mr.sahadeo was not stupid enough to just hit the man..de man
had to do something to make him mad n that was y he hit him...he started it so
mr.sahadeo obviously ended it...im srry for de victim who was hit..that was not
right but then puttin mr.sahadeo behind bars was right either...they were both
wrong in a way n y am i only seeing mr.sahadeo viewed as the bad guy?...in
conclusion mr.sahadeo will and should be free and the victim should face some
charges!!!!
