PHILIPSBURG - When the Democratic Party of St.Maarten presented their list of 11 candidates on Monday afternoon, they do so in the absence of former Commissioner, Council Woman Maria B. Molanus.

The Council Lady is also a former Senator in the parliament of the Netherlands Antilles.

Speaking to PJD2 news department on Monday, leader of the Democratic Party, Sarah W Williams stated that it was the party’s decision including that of Maria B. Molanus, not to participate in the federal elections.

The DP leader also pointed out that their Council Woman was in full support of the party and their list of candidates.

When asked about the political future of Council Lady Buncamper-Molanus for the next election for Country St. Maarten, she could not confirm if the Council Lady would be running for the DP.

it was rumored on Sunday that the DP and Council Lady Buncamper-Molanus had parted ways however this was said not to be the case by a senior decision maker within the DP, late on Sunday night.

Efforts made to contact the missing Council Lady on Monday afternoon, was unsuccessful. There are many who view the absence of Maria Buncamper-Molanus from the postulation process on Monday as a clear sign of the relationship that now exist between her and the DP.

Divide and conquer! This is what is happening within the DP. Maria don't give up
continue to work for your country. Sarah had bad times when she first started
out. Hang in there. Sarah, Theo not every that glitter is gold.

Icouldn't agree more with El Loco, that Maria should jion Theo. They blamed her
for everything that went wrong with DP. If this woman is as powerfull as people
portray her then Maria should lead the party and nort Sarah. The reason for Dp's
downfall is Sarah. Always playing games with people and never taking a stance
and keep her players in line like William marlin does. She let this blaming game
get out of hand and now 4 top DP vote getters gone. Maria I know Theo looking
for you on his new party or when he restructure the DP then you'll have the
support you need. Remember you shafted Moikey with the Maho deal that cost him
millions but saved the island and GEBE. Let the people ask Moikey about the
electricity concession he wanted maria to sign for Maho which she refused. Since
that day he got it out for her. Same sh*t goes for Rollocks who put a food truck
on the roadside and rent it to people across the old movies without a lisence
and dumping the toile****er in the pond. When maria question it Sarah get mad.
This is what happening in DP and people should start asking Sarah, Moikey and
Rolloks what really up.

Sarah would get ride of every bit of talent on the DP and destroy it in the
process just as long as she can obsessively hold on to the #1 spot. Thats all
she is about. She got rid of any threat to her even though it meant the
destruction of the DP. The DP slogans on the shirts say it all.
"Loyalty" People should not be loyal to politicians, individuals or a
political color. That is a dangerous philosophy and reminds me of fascist
dictatorships. The good thing is fascism fails every time. Like a fascist
dictator she surround herself with all the right people to divide an conquer the
party, her key soldier and trouble maker has been Mikey. It's sad, greed and
lust for power destroy my old time loved party. Cant forgive those people for
that.

Maria was the cause of all this friction in the DP party, Theo would not make
the same mistake by adding her to his list.
She would be better off forming
her own party maybe then she can learn a thing or two about the "Local
Man" which she only found out existed since sitting in the oppostion
bench.
Maria might be a hard working politician but we must remember her entire
political career is managed by non other than her commanding husband. Good
riddins for both of them . Sarah , has learnt her lesson the Hard way it cost
her a seat in the Exco council well now it's time to pick yourself up dust off
your shoulders and move on. I will support the party in this election but when
the "Green Machine" is up and running.....Sorry !!!! Gotta Go Gotta Go.
Love Theo he works and we can relate better to him.

Who ever said that 55 was a "Lucky" number ? Come January 22 they will
find out. The DP party doesn't have it anymore , the list is "Tired"
nobody i trust to vote for . Sarah would pull in her people but for the rest of
those jokers on the list, they can't cut it. Theo you did the right thing let
those people go 'bout they business, affiliation with JR and MF spells
"DOOM" .Anybody with the initials JR spells trouble ( don't forget
Falcon Crest )
At the end of the day NA 2 seats . DP 1 seat ( Sarah going to
take it because she got to finish what she started ) .
